Delving into the heart of European metros, "Symmetric Subway" is a photographic series that explores geometry and movement in underground stations. From Hamburg to Stockholm, via Berlin, Munich and Brussels, each shot captures the architectural rigor of these iconic places while infusing them with vibrant energy thanks to the simultaneous passage of trains. Each station, carefully chosen for its symmetrical design, becomes a scene where time seems suspended, but where movement persists. The trains, captured at full speed on the left and right, evoke a mechanical ballet that contrasts with the immobility of the surrounding structures. This visual dialogue between the static and the dynamic creates a captivating aesthetic tension, where the eye oscillates between the order of lines and the fleetingness of movement. More than a simple architectural series, "Symmetric Subway" is an invitation to rediscover these everyday spaces from an artistic angle. Through a play of perspectives, artificial light and controlled blur, each image transforms functional places into true graphic works. With this series, I invite you to descend into the bowels of the great European cities to discover an unsuspected poetry, where the apparent chaos hides a perfect harmony.
